Each meal has a fixed 500 kcal of energy, offering the highest energy availble on the market vs the lowest pack weight and volume. The process of freeze-drying means that the flavour remains unaltered; only moisture content is removed. This also means that the food maintains all its natural vitamin and mineral content.
